Thanks

German Americans have been in this
land before the founding of this nation and fought on both sides of the Revolutionary war.Interestingly, many Hessians and WW2 era POW's elected to remain in the USA after being here for a while.

There is a myth that many push for their own reasons. With rare exception those who come here legally respect the values that the USA were founded under. It is ironic that the brave jihadis who rail about America tell all they know when we discuss deporting their families.

Much of antiamericanism is anticapitalism, envy and ignorance.

Indeed. And for Germany I'd like to add antisemitsm.

Christmas, Easter and the 4th of July are my three most favorite holidays, though for radically different reasons, of course.
